5 Signs You Need A Haircolor Makeover

1. Has your haircolor lost its shine?
  • A simple color gloss treatment, like Redken’s Shades EQ, can restore shine brilliantly, not to mention leave hair soft and silky feeling.
2. Are you no longer getting compliments on your color?
  • Ask your stylist to add highlights or lowlights to restore dimension.
3. When is the last time you tired something new?
  • Instead of asking for the same shade over and over, get inspired to try a new color! Check out websites like for ideas and if you see someone with amazing haircolor, don’t hesitate to ask.
4. Are you having trouble keeping up with Re-Touches?
  • Try Redken’s new Illumination technique, a fresh take on the Ombre haircolor trend that’s all the rage on the red carpet. Color gradually transitions from darker at the roots to lighter at the ends, for a look that’s flattering and low maintenance.
5. Do you wear your hair up 24/7?
  • While a constant ponytail is a sign you need a different haircut, it’s also a sign you could use a new color. A new hue will inspire you to wear you hair down and show off your great new color.

How To Dress Up A Ponytail

If you must wear a ponytail this summer wrap it in a ring/cuff to dress them up. Here is how to pull off the look.
  • Make a ponytail and secure it with a hair tie (some type of elastic)
  • Twist the ponytail to slide into the ring (i.e. stretch ring, napkin ring, etc) or cuff and up the length of your hair until is snugly wraps around the rubber band.
  • Keep the ring/cuff in proportion to your hair length
You can choose narrow cuffs on shorter hair and wide cuffs for long hair. Experiment with high ponytails but watch out you don’t end up looking like Barbara Eden from I Dream of Jeannie, not that there is anything wrong with that.

CND Shellac & OPI GelColor Nail Polish

We have been getting a lot of question regarding the new gel nail POLISHES on the market.

Here is how to guarantee you receive CND Shellac / OPI GelColor Polish

When you have revolutionary products like CND's Shellac or OPI's GelColor, they are sure to be “me-too”…products that claim to be the same, and salons that are claiming to provide “Shellac” services but are using lower quality gel products, what they call gel or just plain old fashion gel. It’s important for you the consumer, to know how you can spot a phony and why it’s important to demand the REAL “CND Shellac or OPI GelColor polish.”

Look:              on either CND’s / OPI’s website for the salon locator to find a salon in your area.

Ask:                the salon if they use CND Shellac Polish or OPI GelColor Polish products

Watch:            the products that are being used during the service and ensure you are receiving the REAL CND Shellac Polish or OPI GelColor Polish service.

If you have any additional question regarding any of the systems please give us a call (407)286-4857, before you make a decision.
